National Airlines Earns Top Aviation Industry Award
ORLANDO, Fla. (March 15, 2016) – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) presented National Airlines, “Orlando’s Hometown Airline,” with the coveted Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Diamond Award of Excellence, Monday, March 14.
This is the fifth time since 2010 that the airline has earned the distinction, which is the top honor for aviation employers whose employees exhibit a commitment to upholding the highest standards in aircraft maintenance. To be eligible for the Diamond Award level, 100 percent of an aviation organization’s maintenance technicians must have received the AMT Certificate of Training for successfully completing the FAA’s training requirements within a calendar year.
