Florida Air National Guard makes history

"JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - 200 members of the 125th Fighter Wing of the Florida Air National Guard headed to Europe Monday afternoon as part of a historic mission. Governor Rick Scott made a special trip to Jacksonville to see them off at the Jacksonville International Airport.
The 125th Fighter Wing is the first Air National Guard unit to support a Theater Security Package supporting Operation Atlantic Resolve, which is all about America's commitment to European security. The unit will work with bases across Europe including Leeuwarden, Netherlands and Graf Ignatievo, Bulgaria.
Officials are calling it a unique training opportunity. The unit of men and women will learn, train and fight together with NATO allies. Support equipment will also be taken to Europe including 12 F-15's. The aircrafts are said to be able to outperform and outfight any current enemy aircraft.
